Joint Adventure is a project dedicated to promoting responsible tourism and sustaining small communities, in harmony with nature. We recommand you journeys that come out of the ordinary and we invite you to discover intriguing places we call home. We challenge you to meet new places, learn from new experiences and contribute in a positive way to the communities you will visit.
We support rural communities and encourage local development projects
The communities where Joint Adventure programmes unfold are mostly secluded. In these places, on local initiative, people develop historical and ecological conservation programmes. Participants in Joint Adventure programmes get to contribute to these initiatives by assuring the necessary income resources to the local communities. Joint Adventure team collaborate and sustain projects as The Golden Way (historical patrimony), Buciumanii (nature and tradition), The Limestone Trail (natural reservation), by employing local guides and getting accommodation to local people.
We promote tourism for small groups
To enjoy the places you visit to the maximum, to get to know the people who come to welcome you and the communities that invite you to make acquaintance to them, we organize programmes for groups of 5 to 12 persons at most.
We encourage ecological tourism and promote the concept "leave no traces"
Joint Adventure programmes take place in protected habitats, where the impact of the people who get to visit those areas must be reduced to the minimum. We believe that nature harmony must be protected through recycling and usage of ecological transport means, such as bicycles.
Joint Adventure team also values healthy nourishment and ecological products, paying the fair price to local farmers.
We believe in the power of example
Joint Adventure team is made up of environmental activists who put forward destinations with a special ecological value in Romania. We are convinced that through education and the power of example we can share with our visitors the care and respect for nature.
